Application Information
To become a member of IEEE and our local chapter:
1.) Sign up online at http://www.ieee.org/services/join/ to become a national member.
2.)
After national membership dues are paid, you can contact an officer and inform them of your IEEE status.
Dues:
$30 for a Full-Year Student Membership
$15 for a Half-Year Student Membership
There is also a $10 local fee paid directly to our chapter.
Requirements:
Be involved academically or experientially with one of the following fields:
- Engineering
- Computer Science and Information Technology
- Physical Sciences
- Biological and Medical Sciences
- Mathematics
- Technical Communications, Education, Management, Law and Policy
"Applicants for admission as a Student Member must carry at least 50 percent of a normal full-time academic program as a registered undergraduate or graduate student in a regular course of study in an IEEE designated field."
